The DHA also said it would no longer use the third-party IT platform that was responsible for the data breach.

The survey was part of the Cyber Wardens pilot program, which aims to train small businesses and their employees to be more aware of cyber threats and how to prevent them. The program was launched in response to the major cyber attacks on Optus and Medibank in 2022, which affected millions of customers.
